What tool are you using for that thick outline around the two central figures. I like the steadiness of the line with the sharp & rounded edge combination. If you say brush, I'm gonna have to put my tools in the drawer and cry for a bit and get them back out.

Just a brush, sorry! :) Yeah, I started doing that thick outline thingy' back when I worked with Joe Mad. Every time he did a stand-alone figure outside of the panels on a page it occurred to me that the actual panel boarders were competing with the foreground stand-along figure for importance. I decided to experiment and actually do a version of a panel boarder around the outside figure, essentially making it its own panel and popping it forward in relation to the rest of the panels on the page. Joe loved it, I loved it, and Ive been doing it ever since. Its especially effective on super busy pages like this. Thank you!
