Jim Lee DOCTOR DOOM

Ahh....Jim Lee. The closest thing we have to a rock star in the comic community. Jim is the whole package. His talent knows no limits, hes the hardest work professional Ive ever seen, he truly loves and respects his fans, and hes the nicest guy in the world. Ive only had the chance to work with Jim a few times over the years which is no suprise considering he has the best inker in the modern history of the medium, Scott Williams, locked down tight. Obviously, you dont turn down a chance to work with Jim but Ive always found it to be THE most nerve wracking experiences of my career. You just dont want to be the guy who screwed up Jim Lees pencils. Since it usually takes me a few pages to really gel with a penciler, Ive never really been able to do what Id like to over Jim. This example was the first time I ever inked him, back in the 90's. This was a Wizard cover if memory serves.
