This was a series of 4 covers penciled by the amazing Skottie Young and inked by me. As you can see, the covers come together to form one image. I had a ton of fun working with Skottie on this. Skottie is probably one of those guys who should be doing it all himself, hes the full package, but I was really honored by being able to work on this with him.

Like the gorilla fur texture in the last cover/frame/lower right corner. Curious to know what you use to white things out. Acrylic paint or whiteout pens?

I really love how your style of inking isn't confined to a single set of abilities. You maintain a strength through this piece of textured inks such as in the hair of some characters, a strict cartoony method maintaining skottie's pencils and then some drop blacks that really set up a depth of view on this.

Thank you! Thats a great compliment for me because its exactly what Ive worked hard to achieve over the years. Ive always felt that an inker who only has one approach limits himself drastically in this industry. With the ever shrinking work pool, an inker needs to be as versatile as possible in order to make themselves more commercially viable. Its dog-eat-dog out here. An inker who has multiple skill sets and is able to determine which style looks best for which penciler and then impliment it will have more options and usually be in high demand.

I love this pic, but you've gotta set the full size display to more than 600 wide. It doesn't do the piece justice.
Are you hitting Download?

Yeah, but but the full size is only a smidegen bigger that the small size. It'd be nice if the full sizes were a little closer to the download size, because there's a huge difference in the full to download sizes. But that's just my opinion. :D
is complicated ink this kind of draws?
