Heres a fun cover by the one and only Tom Raney and myself. This was the first and, if memory serves me correctly, only time Ive worked with Tom. As I recall, this was early on in my exploration with the brush. I had a lot of fun with this piece and a lot of light-bulbs went on for me as a result of it. Who loves ya, Tom!
This looks sort of Mark Farmerish - which is about the highest compliment I can give. Not what I expect to see over Tom but thats why I love it.
Tom is an awesome artist who usually never gets an inker who fits him. I have seen some of his old uncanny x-men stuff simply ruined by bad inking!
You know who I would be curious to see you ink?, Larry Stroman. He did a Punisher/Black Widow GN in the mid 90's that Mark Farmer inked and it really opened my eyes to how his work *could* look.
cool inkwork but i don't like the drawing. looks like he's just calmly floating, but the environment around him makes it look like he's busting in to the scene at full force.

Here is my short list of folks I would love to see you ink:
Alan Davis
Dale Keown
Mark Bagley
Whilce P.
Bart Sears
Tom Grummett
Pat Carlucci (hey.. I thought I would throw him a bone.)
how do you go about doing random rubble and cracks? do you just make up? trial and error? or do you get reference or ideas for some of it?
