Heres an X-Men page that was penciled by the one and only, Marc Silvrestri and inked by me. I helped out with this issue and its the only time Ive ever worked with Marc. Im a huge fan of his stuff. Granted, this style isnt my strength but I thought I pulled it off ok. Its a lot of fun to switch things up once in a while.

You done a great job. Very bold inks. I love that..i don't know how to describe it..I guess sketchy..almost airy look to a penciler's and inker's work. I'm just a huge fan of Marc's too...great guy.

marc is like an idol of mine when it comes to pencilling.
but inkingwise it's so hard to spot the right amound of blacks in this highly rendered style.

i like the telescope. the black bottom right area has a good counterpoint with the top right panel. besides having this rather stylised telescope in a highly rendered page is in my opinion very marc silvestry

but when you approach a style like this...do you work more with a quill or do you stick with the brush (especially with the 4th panel)?

Hey Tim, how hard would it be for you to get access to his stuff from the 80's and ink that? I would LOVE to see your inks on his Brood stuff! Just wondered. Keep it up bro. ~BoS
