This is the cover to the infamous Spidey issue by Joe Mad and myself. We busted our asses on this book and were extremely happy with it. Unfortunately, it printed absolutely horribly. The entire book was pixilized and muddy. I remember being on the verge of tears when I saw it for the first time at the comic shop. I went out to my car and tore the issue in to about 20 pieces. More times than not, Joe and I ended up hating how our issues printed. It was very demoralizing.

Man, those were the days!!
THANKS ALOT for posting this in it's awesome plain simple b&white glory!!
It is true, I remember some UXM-issues coming out pretty badly; I thought mine were one of a few, but so apparently they weren't?
This is always a horrible thing; it also happened to me already one time or another and it really sucks when a printer messes up your work, ESPECIALLY as in the end it is US who have spent so much time on it AND in the end it's OUR names that are on the final "product", so I really understand your tears!!

Fantastic! I'll always remember this one for the huge tease on the first page showing the Hulk and Spidey going at it. They were nice enough to say that the splash had nothing to do with the story though. I also remember some of the absolutely HUGE outlines you were using at the time hehe.

Althought the printing quality may be bad. I still like it.~ :) Lots of my friend still like it. It's still very nice.
