Ignore this Journal. Seriously.I ranted on the internet, as I so very often do. I am quite proud of this one however.
Here, let me set the stage for you:
Marvel Comics' made a post on Facebook regarding the new Wolverine and Iron Man animations from Japan. Of course, it inevitably follows that an angry mob of arrogant douchebags begins to whine about how crappy anime is, and how Marvel has sold out... yaddy yadda. So, I 'sploded.
People that bash on anime as a whole only do so under the pathetically misguided presumption that it's all the same. It is the same logic (or lack thereof) to be found in the following statement:
"I watched 'Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain', and it was a terrible excuse for a television show, therefore all American animation must be stupid."
And before anyone makes a further ass of themselves: Yes, "Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain" IS the title of a show. Look it up.

You're TrappedI was walking through the Sunday markets one week and I picked up this gorgeous Pokémon themed Game Boy, the one where the power button is Pikachu's cheek. With it, it had Pokémon Yellow Version. I had to buy it...

On the way home I was eager to get this bad boy up and running so i bought some double a batteries, as you do. I got home, made a sandwich, loaded these batteries in to this bulky console of fun.

The Game Boy Color symbol shows on the screen, nostalgia blasts through my body.
